Consortium took part in the Kick-off project meeting of ASTRA project (Advancing Sustainable Transition and Resilience in post-mining areas). Due to the Covid post-pandemic worldwide restrictions, the meeting, originally planned in Italy in Sicily and hosted by Idrisi Cultura e Sviluppo, has been realised in online mode on the basis of an agenda developed and shared jointly by all partners.
At the meeting, Partners analysed the project state of implementation, in particular, focusing on the level of development of the OER Platform that will be soon online at https://www.astramining.eu/ and they chose the project’s logo and corporative image.
In the following months the ASTRA partnership will develop project's outputs and deliverables, ie: toolkit contents to raise the beneficiaries' awareness about the cultural, natural, landscape, anthropological endowment and potential locked in their post-mining areas, training contents, case studies, mining site mapping. All the resources will be uploaded on the project platform and will remain available even after the end of project implementation for future sustainability.
ASTRA is a Project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission which involves a Consortium of 3 Partners from 3 European countries i.e. Italy, Spain and Poland.
